I remember that day.
It was my last in this factory, when this big press-machine crushed my hand. Two of my right phalanges, gone.
If, back in those days, I’d listened to every sensed person around, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Now, a couple of thimbles, and a well beaten cancer later, look what I’ve accomplished. Me, my best bass-man, and this crazy bat-eater, whose heart are, at least, as big as their madness.
We’ve created a new sound. Warm, rich and loud, like no other ever did, that swang deep-heavy waves straight to the heart of millions of people.
Paul once said, that if the Beatles were the bright side of Rock ‘n’ roll, we, were definitely it’s other side.
Sounds good to me man.
